How much is shipping?

For orders in Australia, shipping is now completely FREE for orders over $60. That's right, straight up FREE, not free** as it used to be!

All items are shipped in premium Australia Post padded envelopes, we do this to protect the stock since normal paper envelopes have a tendency to disintegrate when they're wet! Not to mention we don't want your shiny new coins and trackables scuffed by some rough postal worker. For 99% of our orders, this means the standard shipping rate is $4.20 + our handling fee of $1 for the price of the envelope and taking it to the post office.

If you think your item is better off in a paper thin envelope, please let us know and we'll send you a Paypal request for the amount + modified shipping price.

Backorders & Preorder Items

If any of your items are on backorder, we will hold the entire order until this is filled. If you'd prefer, please make two orders so that you can pay the relevant shipping so that we aren't out of pocket. Our margins aren't high enough to be sending things out to everyone for free! ;)

Special Order Items

Are items that we do not keep in stock, but are able to order in for you on a one by one basis

In the case of GPS's please allow 5-10 working days to receive your order; although often times they do arrive sooner!

For other special order lines please allow 2 - 3 weeks.

International orders

We now have international shipping rates. Please note that we do NOT ship ammo cans overseas as this causes hassles in customs.

Shipping

Our aim is to have all instock items shipped out by the next business day. On the off chance that we're flat out (not often) this may take up to 3 business days. Once we've shipped it, it's in the hands of Australia Post in terms of how quickly you receive it. For the most part, this will be the next day, though their website indicates that you should allow up to 10 working days. All goods are sent out via regular parcel post, unless express shipping is requested. IF there is a problem, please give us a call or email us!

Though we do our best to make sure the products we offer are always available, we occasionally run out of particular items. If the item you order is unavailable, we will notify you as soon as possible and let you know an approximate date that we'll ship it out to you!

Packaging

We aim to be as environmentally friendly as possible at Geocachestore, larger items will be sent out in whatever box (cut down) that we have lying around. This keeps our shipping costs low and helps us contribute to a healthier planet! So if you receive your ammo can order in an Aldi box, then smile, knowing that we just saved a tree!

Warranty

Should you find a problem with your purchase, after we've had a look at it, we will offer you a replacement, repair, a credit or full refund on the faulty product where:

  • the product has either faulty workmanship or materials
  • the product is, or becomes, faulty through no fault of yours
  • the product is not fit for the stated purpose or a purpose you made known to our sales staff (and the sales staff did not inform you the product could not be used for that purpose)
  • the product does not match the description or sample
  • the product has defects that were not obvious or not brought to your attention

To qualify for a refund goods must be returned within a reasonable time, with proof of purchase, and exhibit a problem that has not been caused by you.

To make a warranty claim please contact us to arrange a Return Authorisation.

Please note that we do not refund or exchange for change of mind purchases. Please choose carefully before purchasing. If ordering clothing or any other special order item, please ensure that you choose carefully as no refund will be given on an incorrect choice of size or color. We're ordering this stuff in especially for you, so chances someone else will buy it aren't that great!
